Castle of Mey
Itinerary
We depart early morning and head for Laidhay Croft Museum where you will have the opportunity to purchase a coffee in the cafe if you wish. We then head to The Castle & Gardens of Mey which boasts amazing views over the Pentland Firth to the Orkney Islands. The castle was built between 1566 and 1572 and is the most Northerly castle in mainland Scotland. We depart and have a short stop at John O Groat’s for a photo opportunity. We finish our day with a high tea at the Morangie Hotel Tain before heading home via our drop off points later into the evening.
