Set in the heart of the historic market town of Alnwick, the White Swan is a charming, 300-year-old coaching inn that blends its unique heritage with superb accommodation. The hotel is probably best known for its Olympic Dining Suite which features the magnificent panelling, mirrors, and stained-glass windows from the Titanic’s sister ship. All bedrooms are ensuite and have a TV, telephone, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.This hotel does not have a lift.

DAY 1: Depart from your home area in the morning as we travel to the White Swan Hotel. Enjoy a 3 nights stay with dinner, bed and breakfast.
DAY 2: Today's excursion takes us to the North of Northumberland across the causeway to Holy Island, where we have the opportunity to get up close to the mysterious Lindisfarne Castle. Later we return making a stop in Bamburgh, with its mighty castle on the beach. Perhaps visit the Grace Darling Museum, which tells the story of the local heroine. Please note: The crossing of the causeway to Holy Island is governed by tide times. It may be necessary to amend this excursion.
DAY 3: After a leisurely breakfast, we journey along the Northumberland coast making our first stop in the pretty harbour of Seahouses. After enjoying a break here, we make our way back to Alnwick where you have some free time to explore the traditional market town before heading back to the hotel for dinner.
DAY 4: After breakfast, we depart the hotel and head for home.
During your stay you will enjoy two nights of entertainment, one night will be a quiz and the other night will be bingo. You will also enjoy a 'Taste of Northumbria' - tasting local spirits, liquors, and beers - before dinner one evening.
