Itinerary
Day 1: Departing in the morning we head to the New Lanark Hotel. Enjoy a 4 nights stay dinner, bed and breakfast. Upon arrival you will be greeted with tea/coffee and mince pies.
Day 2: This morning, we drive to Edinburgh’s centre to enjoy the day at your leisure. Edinburgh is a true winter wonderland at Christmas time and the festive markets are sure to delight. You’ll find gifts galore, fantastic food and Christmas cheer aplenty, so take time to explore, pick up the perfect presents and sample fine festive treats. This evening there will be a Christmas movie night in the cinema room.
Day 3: Today we visit the New Lanark Visitor Centre, located alongside our hotel. This attraction is a UNESCO World Heritage Site which tells the fascinating story of the cotton mill village of New Lanark which was founded in the 18th century. There is free time in the afternoon to make use of the hotel’s leisure facilities This evening we enjoy a traditional Christmas dinner along with mince pies, festive hats and crackers.
Day 4: Our day takes us to Glasgow for the much-loved Glasgow Christmas Markets. The markets encompass colourful stalls offering a selection of gifts, handmade products, and world cuisine set in a festive village of rustic cabins and stalls. Whether you're shopping for a special gift or looking for a bite to eat, Glasgow’s Christmas Markets will be sure to please. This evening there will be a festive quiz.
Day 5: After breakfast, we depart the hotel and begin our journey home.
