Itinerary
Day 1: Departing from your pick-up point we travel to the Dryfesdale Country House Hotel for an overnight stay dinner, bed & breakfast.
Day 2: After breakfast we continue our journey taking the afternoon sailing from Heysham to Douglas. We continue to the Empress Hotel for a 5 nights stay dinner, bed & breakfast.
Day 3: Today we experience one of the Isle of Man's most famous attractions as we travel on the historic Snaefell Mountain Railway. Climbing to the summit of Snaefell, the island's highest peak, enjoy spectacular panoramic views across the Isle of Man and, on a clear day, views of England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales.
Day 4: This morning we visit the award winning House of Manannan in Peel, where interactive exhibits and displays tell the fascinating story of the Isle of Man's rich Celtic, Viking and maritime heritage. This afternoon we continue to Cregneash National Folk Museum, a living museum that preserves traditional Manx crofting life. Meet the famous Loaghtan sheep and discover how island communities lived and worked in centuries gone by.
Day 5: After breakfast, we visit the Isle of Man Motor Museum, home to an impressive collection of classic and vintage vehicles. Later, we enjoy a journey on the historic Manx Electric Railway, Britain's longest narrow gauge electric railway, travelling through beautiful coastal scenery and charming Manx countryside.
Day 6: Enjoy a free day to explore Douglas at your own pace. Take in the local sights, browse the shops, stroll along the promenade, or relax in one of the town's cafés and enjoy the atmosphere.
Day 7: After breakfast we begin our journey home.
