DAY 1: Departing from your pick up point we arrive at the beautiful Gretna Hall for a 4 nights stay dinner, bed and breakfast.
DAY 2: After breakfast we head for Dumfries House, one of Britain’s most beautiful stately homes and best kept secret. Set on 2,000 acres, this stunning Estate and 18th-century house, with its unrivalled collection of Chippendale furniture has something for everyone. Later in the day we will return to the hotel.
DAY 3: After breakfast, we’ll enjoy a scenic drive along Hadrian’s Wall, taking in the historic landscape and a chance for photo opportunities. We’ll then head to the charming market town of Hexham, where you’ll have time to explore its abbey, shops, and cafés at your leisure. Later in the afternoon, we return to the hotel to relax and unwind.
DAY 4: Today we will take a scenic drive to the town of Keswick home to the Cumberland Museum and breath-taking mountains. We will enjoy some free time here before continuing to the Lake District. Observe the views of the Kirkton Pass before arriving for our sailing on the Ullswater Cruise.
DAY 5: After a leisurely breakfast we leave and head for home.
