The Kelpies & Falkirk Wheel

Itinerary

Departing from your designated pick up point we will begin our journey to our first stop of the day which will be 'The Kelpies'. Built in 2013 these iconic equine sculptures are not to be missed, each weighing over 300 tonnes and sit on 1,200 tonne foundations. We then head to the Falkirk Wheel where you will enjoy a ride on the world's only rotating boat lift. We then return home via drop off points.

Extra Information

• Please note the Kelpies is around a 10 minute walk from the Helix Car Park where we postion the coach.

• The Helix Visitor Centre is open from 0900hrs-1700hrs and serves light refreshments. 

• The Falkirk Wheel has a small cafe inside the centre where you can purchase refreshments.

• The Falkirk Wheel has a spalsh zone for kids and other activites on offer which can be viewed on their website.

• The boat trip takes around 50 minutes and includes two turns on the wheel.
