Itinerary
Day 1: Departing from your home area, we travel to the Holiday Inn Preston for an overnight stay with dinner, bed and breakfast.
Day 2: After breakfast, we continue our journey to the Imperial Hotel, Torquay for a 4 nights stay dinner, bed and breakfast.
Day 3: Today we enjoy a memorable journey on the steam train from Paignton to Kingswear, taking in the stunning coastal scenery along the way. From here, we cross the River Dart heading to Dartmouth. You will enjoy a one-hour circular cruise of the River Dart before heading to Dartmouth for free time. Later in the day we return to Paignton via steam train.
Day 4: After breakfast, we set off for the attractive seaside town of Teignmouth, where there will be free time to explore the town, browse the shops or take a stroll along the promenade. We then continue to the charming coastal resort of Dawlish, famous for its beautiful sandy beach, colourful gardens and black swans. Enjoy time at leisure before we travel on to the elegant Regency town of Sidmouth. Nestled on the Jurassic Coast, Sidmouth offers delightful gardens, independent shops and a stunning seafront. After time to relax and explore, we return to Torquay in the late afternoon.
Day 5: A free day to relax and enjoy Torquay. Take a stroll along the seafront, explore the harbour, or simply unwind and enjoy the hotel’s facilities.
Day 6: After breakfast, we depart Torquay and travel to the Holiday Inn Preston for an overnight stay with dinner, bed and breakfast.
Day 7: After breakfast, we continue our journey home.
