The Beaufort Park Hotel is situated near the market town of Mold and is an ideal base for our tour. You are assured of a warm and friendly welcome and you will soon feel that you never want to leave. The Scandinavian-style reception and mezzanine lounge provide an oasis of peace to relax, read, or enjoy a drink. All bedrooms are ensuite with a TV, telephone, hairdryer, trouser press and tea/coffee making facilities. This hotel does not have a lift.

Itinerary
Day 1: Depart from your home area travelling to the Beaufort Park Hotel for a 4 nights stay dinner, bed, and breakfast. Enjoy tea/biscuits on arrival.
Day 2: This morning we have a ride to the village of Llanberis, to enjoy a ride on the Snowdon Mountain Railway. This world-famous little train takes you on a breathtaking ride to the top of Snowdon, at 3560 ft (1085m) the highest mountain in England and Wales. The views are stunning, and this is not to be missed. We return through Snowdonia making a stop in the idyllic Victorian resort of Betws-y-Coed.
Day 3: After breakfast this morning we journey to the unique Italianate village of Portmeirion, designed by architect William Ellis early in the 20th century. The stunning houses and pavilions overlook the sea at Cardigan Bay and provide a beautiful backdrop. Later we journey to Porthmadog to catch the Ffestiniog Railway for an exhilarating ride across the mountains, to the slate town of Blaenau Ffestiniog.
Day 4: Today we head out through some lovely Welsh scenery, including the spectacular Horseshoe Pass, to the Dee Valley where we join the Rheilfford Llangollen Railway for a journey on a nostalgic train. We also take a ride on the ‘Stream in the Sky’- the Llangollen Canal - gliding gently along over the country’s biggest navigable viaduct.
Day 5: After breakfast, we leave and begin our journey home.
