Itinerary
Day 1: Departing from your home area in the morning travelling to our overnight stay, arriving at the Shap Wells Hotel for a 1 night stay dinner, bed and breakfast.
Day 2: After breakfast we continue our journey travelling to Wales arriving at the Copthorne Cardiff Hotel for a 4 nights stay dinner, bed and breakfast.
Day 3: Our day begins with a journey along the beautiful Wye Valley to historic Monmouth for a short break. From here we head for Symonds Yat where we enjoy a cruise on the River Wye. Your lunch break today is in Ross-on-Wye and we return through the Forest of Dean to Lydney and Chepstow which is our final stop of the day.
Day 4: This morning we make the journey to Bristol. We have the day free to explore this historic maritime city, home of Brunel’s magnificent ship, the SS Great Britain. Lunch today is not included but there are many opportunities in the city centre and around the harbour to relax and enjoy a drink and a bite to eat.
Day 5: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before we head off to the fascinating Royal Mint Experience at Llantrisant where we can learn about how the coins we use every day are made. From here we head for the stunning and cosmopolitan capital city of Cardiff. The city has lots to offer the visitor from the castle, the superb Millennium Stadium, the rejuvenated Cardiff Bay area with boat trips, cafes and bars.
Day 6: After breakfast we travel to our overnight stay at the Shap Wells Hotel for a 1 night stay dinner, bed and breakfast.
Day 7: After breakfast, we leave and begin our journey home.
