The Mercure Cardiff North Hotel 4* (Main Hotel)

The Mercure Cardiff North was completely renovated in 2019 and provides an excellent location for exploring South Wales, located just 5 miles from Cardiff city centre. Hotel facilities include an excellent standard of accommodation. All bedrooms are en suite and have television, telephone, hairdryer and walk-in showers with a small step. This hotel has a lift.

Itinerary

DAY 1: Depart from your home area in the morning travelling to the Hilton Garden Inn Stoke for an overnight stay, dinner, bed and breakfast.

DAY 2: After breakfast we depart continuing our journey to the Mercure Cardiff North Hotel. 4 nights stay dinner, bed and breakfast. Tea/coffee and biscuits on arrival.

DAY 3: Our day begins with a journey along the beautiful Wye Valley to historic Monmouth for a short break. From here we head for Symonds Yat where we enjoy a cruise on the River Wye. We enjoy a stop at Ross-on-Wye and we return through the Forest of Dean to Lydney and Chepstow, our final stop of the day.

DAY 4: This morning we make the journey to Bristol. We have the day free to explore this historic maritime city, home of Brunel's magnificent ship, the SS Great Britain. Lunch today is not included but there are many opportunities in the city centre and around the harbour to relax and enjoy a drink and a bite to eat.

DAY 5: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before we head off to the fascinating Royal Mint Experience at Llantrisant where we can learn about how the coins we use every day are made. From here we head for the stunning and cosmopolitan capital city of Cardiff. The city has lots to offer the visitor-the castle, the superb Millennium Stadium, the rejuvenated Cardiff Bay area with boat trips, cafes and bars.

DAY 6: After breakfast, we depart the hotel traveling north for our overnight stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Stoke, dinner, bed and Breakfast.

DAY 7: After breakfast we depart and head home via drop off points.
