Set in the heart of the historic market town of Alnwick, the White Swan is a charming 300-year-old coaching inn that blends its unique heritage with superb accommodation. The hotel is probably best known for its Olympic Dining Suite which features the magnificent panelling, mirrors, and stained-glass windows from the Titanic’s sister ship. All bedrooms are ensuite and have a TV, telephone, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. This hotel does not have a lift.

Itinerary
Day 1: Depart from your home area in the morning, we travel to the White Swan Hotel. Enjoy a 3 nights stay dinner, bed and breakfast.
Day 2: New Year’s Eve. After a leisurely breakfast, we journey along the Northumberland coast making our first stop in the pretty harbour of Seahouses. After enjoying some free time here, we continue along the coast to Bamburgh. The town is dominated by its famous castle that has enjoyed over 1,400 years of rich history and was built as the capital of the Kingdom of Northumbria. Our New Year’s Eve evening begins with pre-dinner fizz and canapes followed by a New Year’s Eve gala dinner.There is live entertainment in the form of a pianist, and a DJ provides dancing opportunities. The New Year is celebrated with a piper and singing the traditional chorus Auld Lang Syne.
Day 3: New Year’s Day. After a leisurely breakfast, the day is free to explore the traditional market town of Alnwick at leisure.
Day 4: After breakfast, we depart the hotel and begin the journey home.
