DAY 1: Departing from your home area, we will travel to the Copthorne Hotel, Manchester for a 4 nights stay dinner, bed and breakfast

DAY 2: Enjoy a full day exploring Salford Quays, a wonderfully revitalised area of Manchester and a unique waterfront destination. This unique destination is home to several cultural leisure highlights, including the Imperial War Museum North and The Lowry arts centre, both offering free admission. In the morning, we will enjoy a round trip on board the Salford Quays cruise, which will give you an insight into the history of the area. After the cruise you will have a free afternoon to explore.

DAY 3: Today we will visit the wonderful RHS Garden Bridgewater. The former site of Worsley New Hall, it is a heritage landscape that has been transformed into an iconic RHS Garden, an unbelievable 'oasis of calm' so close to the hustle and bustle of Manchester. A landscape architect, the Bridgewater team and award-winning garden designers, have brought 'gardens within a garden' to life by blending history with world-class horticulture. If time allows, visit the nearby picture postcard village of Worsley, with its black and white buildings.

DAY 4: Today we have a supersonic visit to Concorde at the Runway Visitor Park, Manchester Airport. Enjoy a unique fully guided tour of one of the most iconic aircraft in history, with time under the wings, time on-board, including the flight deck, and a personalised commemorative certificate. The Runway Visitor Park is also home to a number of other retired planes, which offer a glimpse of what flying was like in the 1960's and 1970's. In the afternoon we return to the hotel where you can spend more time at Salford Quays or take a local Metrolink tram from the hotel and be in the heart of Manchester within 15 minutes.

DAY 5: After breakfast, we leave and begin our journey home.
