The Winnock Hotel, Drymen 3*

Situated in the heart of Loch Lomond National Park, The Winnock Hotel is set in an 18^th-century building. Rooms are all equipped with a TV, en-suite bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities. This hotel doesn’t have a lift, however ground floor rooms are available on request.

Itinerary

DAY 1: Departing from your pick-up point, we will head for the Winnock Hotel, Loch Lomond for a 4 night stay dinner, bed and breakfast.

DAY 2: Today you will enjoy a 2 hour sailing aboard the steam ship Sir Walter Scott. In the afternoon we will then visit the beautiful falls of Dochart which run through Killin before continuing onto Aberfoyle Woollen Mill.

DAY 3: We start our day with a leisurely drive to the Falkirk Wheel where you can enjoy a ride on the world's first and only rotating boat life. We will then continue to Edinburgh where you will have free time and have the opportunity to discover the host of attractions or the shops on Princes Street. The city is dominated by the magnificent Edinburgh Castle, an ancient fortress built on a volcanic crag. It is the most visited attraction in Scotland. Other attractions include the gardens on Princes Street, the Old Town, The Royal Mile leading to Holyrood House and much more.

DAY 4: After a leisurely breakfast we take a scenic drive via Loch Long and the rest and be thankful before heading to Inveraray. Inveraray is a traditional county town overlooking the waters of Loch Fyne. You will have free time here to explore the area or why not take the opportunity to visit the Inveraray woollen mill and coffee shop.

DAY 5: After breakfast, we will set off on our homeward journey.

Please be aware all of our rooms are released back to the hotel approximately 4 weeks to the departure date. We recommend that you book atleast 2 months prior to the holiday to secure your booking.
