Itinerary
DAY 1: Travel from your home area in the morning we head to the ferry to sail across the Irish Sea sail from Cairnryan to Belfast, arriving in the Emerald Isle to start our grand tour.
DAY 2: We depart our hotel in the morning heading for the Old Bushmills Whiskey Distillery. Bushmills is home to the world's oldest licensed whiskey distillery which has records stretching back to 1608. You will sample some of Irelands most loved Whiskey whilst learning about the copper pot stills and production of there triple distilled whiskeys. We then head to the giants causeway, a landscape of dramatic cliffs and basalts columns, legend has it the causeway was formed by two great giants Finn from Ireland and Benandonner from Scotland.
DAY 3: Today is left free for you to explore Donegal Town at your own pace.
DAY 4: After breakfast we head for our next destination which is Galway. Before arriving in Galway we will have a stop at Knock which is a small village in County Mayo, Ireland. Knock is one of the most visited towns in Ireland and is famous for the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Knock, commonly referred to as Knock Shrine. We arrive at Galway late afternoon, you will have some free time here to explore the cobbled streets before heading to our hotel.
DAY 5: Today we head for the 6th century Clonmacnoise Monastic Site. The Clonmacnoise is located at an ancient crossroads where the Esker Way and the River Shannon meet. It is home to three exceptional high crosses, a cathedral, seven churches and two rounds towers so there is plenty to catch the eye. Later on we head for Dublin where you will have a short stop before heading to your hotel.
DAY 6: We begin our day with the Titanic experience, the walking tour explores the history and provides an opportunity to walk in the footsteps of the men who built Titanic-the world's most famous ship. The tour is fully interactive, hear tales from survivors, see models of the cabins and take a video tour of how the Titanic looks today.
DAY 7: Our journey home concludes with an early drive through Irelands amazing countryside as we make our way back to the Ferry for crossing home.
