Itinerary

DAY 1: Departing early morning from your pick-up point start your day with a ferry trip from Cairnryan to Belfast. We arrive at your hotel late evening to enjoy a 4 nights stay dinner, bed and breakfast.

DAY 2: This morning we drive to Glenveagh Castle which is a 19th Century, Castellated mansion built between 1867 and 1873. The castle is surrounded by the famous Glenveagh Gardens. We leave Glenveagh mid-afternoon and head back towards Donegal to enjoy an afternoon in Lough Eske Castle where you will be served freshly brewed tea and homemade scones. The castle and its grounds are yours to explore. We arrive back to our hotel with some time to relax before our dinner.

DAY 3: Drive through the Irish countryside to Burtonport and take the ferry to Arranmore Island. A mini bus will be provided to take the first 18 passengers on a tour of the island whilst the others enjoy a cup of tea and await their turn for the next tour. After a tour of the island a well-deserved treat of traditional fish and chips await at Earl's bar which is only 500 yards from the pier. We will return via Dungloe.

DAY 4: Today is left free for you to explore Donegal town at your own pace. The local waterbus takes you around Donegal bay while telling you Donegal's beautiful history while providing plenty of music and local entertainment.

DAY 5: We begin our journey back for our sailing home.
