2026 Itinerary
DAY 1: Departing from your pick up point, we begin our journey to the Crianlarich Hotel for a 4 nights stay dinner, bed and breakfast.
DAY 2: A spectacular sightseeing tour today. We travel Southwest to the lovely little white-washed town of Inveraray. There is time for a look around, obtain a drink and a bite to eat. Maybe try the Irn-Bru ice-cream! Our afternoon visit takes us to the magnificent, unique and fascinating Inveraray Castle, the ancestral home of the Duke of Argyll. Fans of Downton Abbey may remember it featured as Duneagle Castle in the series.
DAY 3: Today we head along Glen Dochart to Killin, with the Falls of Dochart rushing through the village. From here we drive along Loch Tay to Aberfeldy, where we have time to obtain lunch. This afternoon we head south along the Sma’ Glen to Crieff. Here we visit the Glenturret Distillery, whose whisky is a key ingredient in The Famous Grouse. We will enjoy a tour and a wee dram at the distillery. Our return takes us along Loch Earn and Glen Ogle to Crianlarich.
DAY 4: This morning we journey to Fort William, a picturesque town sitting on the shores of Loch Linnhe under the mighty bulk of Ben Nevis, Britain’s highest mountain. Enjoy free time at leisure to explore the town. Attractions include the West Highland Museum, which houses a large collection of Jacobite memorabilia. In the afternoon we board for a two hour wildlife cruise on Loch Linnhe taking in the iconic views of Ben Nevis and the local sights including Seal Island. If we are lucky, there is a possibility of spotting dolphins.
DAY 5: After breakfast, we depart the hotel for our journey home.
