Itinerary

Departing early morning we take a scenic drive along the beautiful Loch Ness where we will have a short stop for a photo opportunity of the Loch- make sure you look out for the famous Nessie! Our first stop of the day is the Clansman hotel where you will enjoy a morning coffee with a cake/traybake. We will then make our way to Eilean Donan Castle where we have arranged a guided tour. The castle was partially destroyed in 1719 and re-opened in 1932, it is said that the castle is recognised as one of the most iconic images of Scotland. We finish our day with a 2 course meal at the lovely Ledgowan Lodge Hotel before heading home via our drop off routes.

Extra Information

• Please note you may have time for a quick toilet stop in the Loch Ness area.

• Eilean Donan Castle features a visitor centre with a coffee shop and gift shop.

• The layout of the castle includes uneven steps, narrow stairways, corridors and different floor levels. Unfortunately it does make access difficult indeed for the less able-bodied. For wheel-chair users, it is nigh on impossible.
