Itinerary
Day 1: Depart from your home area travelling to the The Leapark Hotel, Grangemouth for a 3 nights stay, 2 nights dinner, bed and breakfast. The day of the tattoo is bed and breakfast only.
Day 2: This morning, we will travel to visit the Kelpies and marvel at the largest equine sculptures in the world, standing at 100 feet tall. We then travel to the city of Stirling, with its famous castle and interesting ranges of shops, cafes and pubs.
Day 3: Later in the day we travel to the capital city of Scotland Edinburgh where we enjoy free time to explore the city at leisure. The city is dominated by the magnificent Edinburgh Castle, an ancient fortress built on a volcanic crag. It is the most visited attraction in Scotland. Other attractions include the gardens on Princes Street, the Old Town, the Royal Mile leading to Holyrood House and much more. Dinner is not included tonight so guests are encouraged to enjoy dinner in the city before taking their seats at the internationally renowned Edinburgh Tattoo. Expect anything and everything - from Highland dancers, fiddle players and steel bands, to martial art performers and daredevil motorbike acrobatic displays. Not to forget a grand finale featuring a rendition of Auld Lang Syne and a spectacular fireworks display. It’s a stunning event that gets bigger and better every year!
Day 4: After breakfast, we leave and begin our journey home.
