Our hotel for this tour is the Leapark Hotel, Grangemouth, situated in the heart of Central Scotland. Proving an ideal base from which to explore Scotland's many treasures. All bedrooms are en suite and have television, telephone, hairdryer and tea & coffee making facilities. This hotel does not have a lift.

Day 1

Depart from your home area travelling to the Scottish Borders, arriving late afternoon at Leapark Hotel, Grangemouth. 3 nights stay - 2 nights dinner, bed & breakfast. Bed & Breakfast (2nd night - Tattoo Evening)

Day 2

This morning we travel the short distance to visit the Kelpies to marvel at the largest equine sculptures in the world; standing at 100ft tall. Afterwards we have rest the morning free in Falkirk to explore and grab lunch. This afternoon we travel to the city of Stirling, with its famous castle and interesting ranges of shops, cafes and pubs.

Day 3

After a leisurely breakfast we travel to the capital city of Scotland Edinburgh where we enjoy free time to explore the city at your own leisure. The city is dominated by the magnificent Edinburgh Castle, an ancient fortress built on a volcanic crag. It is the most visited attraction in Scotland. Attractions include the gardens on Princes Street, the Old Town, the Royal Mile leading to Holyrood House and much more. The hotel has provided a takeaway lunch to enjoy.

Dinner is not included tonight so guests are encouraged to enjoy dinner in the city before taking your seats at the Internationally renowned Edinburgh Tattoo. .Expect anything and everything - from Highland dancers, fiddle players and steel bands, to martial art performers and daredevil motorbike acrobatic displays. Not to forget a grand finale featuring rendition of Auld Lang Syne and spectacular fireworks display. It's a stunning event that gets bigger and better every year!

Day 4

After breakfast we depart and head for home.
