The Royal Hotel, Oban is located in the heart of the coastal town of Oban on the West Coast of Scotland. Providing a gate way to the Scottish Highlands and Hebridean Islands, the hotel facilities include lounge and bar. DAY 1: Depart from your home area and travel to the Royal Hotel, Oban for a 3 nights stay, including dinner, bed, and breakfast.

DAY 2: After breakfast, we take the morning ferry from Oban to the Isle of Mull. Keep an eye out for marine wildlife - dolphins and whales are sometimes spotted during the crossing. The ferry docks at Craignure, and we continue north to the charming harbour town of Tobermory, famously known as the setting for the children's TV show Balamory. Enjoy free time to explore the colourful streets, browse independent shops, and have lunch before we return to the mainland.

DAY 3: Today features a spectacular sightseeing tour. We head southeast to the picturesque, white-washed town of Inveraray, where you'll have time to explore, grab a drink, and perhaps try the unique Irn-Bru ice cream. In the afternoon, we visit the magnificent and historic Inveraray Castle, the ancestral home of the Duke of Argyll. Fans of Downton Abbey may recognize it as Duneagle Castle, which featured in the series.

DAY 4: After breakfast, we begin our journey home.
