Itinerary

DAY 1: Depart from your home area travelling from Cairnryan to Belfast. After crossing we head for the Academy Plaza Hotel, Dublin City Centre. 4 nights stay dinner, bed and breakfast.

DAY 2: After a leisurely breakfast we head for the popular Jameson Distillery. The distillery was founded by John Jameson in 1780 and today the former factory stands as a monument to Irish Whiskey. You will learn the process and story behind this great Whiskey whilst following in the footsteps of the great John Jameson. Later in the day we will enjoy a guided tour of the city of Dublin, take in some of the most popular sights whilst learning the history behind this popular city.

DAY 3: We head to Powerscourt House and Gardens where we will spend the day. Named the third best Garden in the world by National Geographic, this is not one to be missed! Set on 47 acres the gardens are curated and well maintained with so many wondrous features to explore. Take in the breath-taking beauty of this 13th-century house. The three-storey house was completed in 1741 and home to 68 rooms which was designed around the medieval castle. Later on we will have a stroll past the Powerscourt Waterfall which is the second highest waterfall in Ireland at 121 meters high. The magnificent Waterfall cascades down over the granite rocks from the peatlands above.

DAY 4: Today you will have a free day in Dublin to explore the city at your own leisure. Why not visit one of the popular landmarks, book a tour or just find a popular spot to watch the world go by.

DAY 5: We depart early morning and make our way to the ferry terminal.
