Blackwell Grange Hotel (Overnight) 3*
The Blackwell Grange Hotel is a stunning 17th Century mansion, which enjoys an enviable setting in the beautiful County Durham countryside. The hotel is nestled in wooded parkland in Darlington, located between the North Yorkshire Moors and the Pennines. Hotel facilities include a leisure club with a heated indoor swimming pool, spa and sauna. All bedrooms are ensuite and have a TV, radio, telephone, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. This hotel does not have a lift.

DAY 1: Depart from your home area travelling to the Blackwell Grange Hotel for an overnight stay dinner, bed and breakfast.
DAY 2: After breakfast we depart continuing our journey to the Chesford Grange Hotel late afternoon. Enjoy a 4 nights stay dinner, bed and breakfast.
DAY 3: This morning, we visit the fantastic Sudeley Castle & Gardens, located in the heart of the Cotswolds. The castle hosts exhibits of fascinating treasures - from ancient Roman times to the present day. Outside, the castle is surrounded by a breathtaking 1,200-acre estate and ten award-winning gardens. The centre piece is the Queen's Garden - a must-see on this excursion. This afternoon, we visit the spa town of Cheltenham - located just outside of the Cotswolds. Walk down the promenade - considered one of the most beautiful in the country with its tree-lined avenue flanked by smart shops and cafés.
DAY 4: After breakfast, we head for Hidcote Manor Garden, an Arts and Crafts garden in the north Cotswolds, just a stone's throw from Stratford-upon-Avon. Explore the maze of narrow paved pathways and discover secret gardens, magnificent vistas, and plants that burst with colour. Later this afternoon we travel to Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of Shakespeare. We have plenty of time to wander the streets looking for a bargain in an independent store, or maybe visit Shakespeare's birthplace to learn more about the man himself.
DAY 5: Today we visit Painswick Rococo Garden which is the only surviving garden of the Rococo period open to the public. Instead of an orderly flower garden, this is a haven of peace and tranquillity to explore, with quirky features sprinkled around to tickle your fancy. Gloucester is next this afternoon, where we can enjoy the afternoon amongst the pretty cityscape. Perhaps visit the quayside, dockyards, and museums, maybe enjoy lunch in the town, or visit the high street for some retail therapy.
DAY 6: After breakfast, we depart the hotel travelling north for our overnight stay at the Blackwell Grange Hotel dinner, bed and breakfast.
DAY 7: After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and continue our journey home.
