DAY 1: Departing from your pick up point we travel to the Holiday Inn Preston for an overnight stay dinner, bed and breakfast.
DAY 2: After breakfast we will begin our journey to the Best Western Plus Burlington for a 4 night stay dinner, bed and breakfast.
DAY 3: Today we will discover the historic Cinque Port of Hythe, from its promenade to unique high street shops. We enjoy a nostalgic journey on 'Kent's Mainline in Miniature', the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway, across Romney Marsh to Dungeness, the eerie home to a host of artists and the 'listening walls' built for early signs of enemy aircraft. Continue into East Sussex, to the picturesque town of Rye, with its cobbled streets, historical buildings and past links to smuggling.
DAY 4: Today we will head to the fascinating Isle of Thanet, home to 16 beautiful bays and beaches. We take a scenic drive to Margate, home to a thriving artistic community and setting for many famous film locations. Continuing onto genteel Broadstairs, Charles Dickens' favourite seaside resort with its picture perfect sweeping bay, topped by Bleak House itself, or experience the Royal Port of Ramsgate with its grand harbour, and visit the longest wartime tunnels in the UK where residents took refuge and lived underground just steps away from the beautiful golden beach.
DAY 5: Today you will have a free day to explore, why not take a stroll along the Leas Promenade for sea views and fresh air, or explore the Creative Quarter with its quirky shops, galleries, and cafés.
DAY 6: After breakfast we will depart and begin our journey to the Garner Hotel Preston Samlesbury, for an overnight stay dinner, bed and breakfast.
DAY 7: After breakfast, we leave and begin our journey home.
