The Best Western Crianlarich Hotel stands in the village of the same name on the fringe of the beautiful Breadalbane region of Perthshire. Itinerary

DAY 1: Depart our home areas travelling to the Crianlarich Hotel. Tea/coffee and mince pies served on arrival. 4 nights stay dinner, bed and breakfast. Enjoy a pre-dinner welcome glass of wine. Festive entertainment each evening.

DAY 2 (CHRISTMAS EVE): Today we have a superb sightseeing drive to Oban, taking us through the Pass of Brander and alongside Loch Etive. We have time to explore Oban and maybe a stroll around the harbour before we leave and return to the hotel in time for cream tea. Relax before dinner and tonight's entertainment.

DAY 3 (CHRISTMAS DAY): Enjoy a relaxing breakfast, open your presents and maybe take a leisurely stroll around the village to work up an appetite for Christmas Lunch and a glass of bucks fizz. We will enjoy a visit from Santa during the day with gifts for all. Tea and Christmas cake are served whilst you listen to the King's speech. There are board games available during the day and a light buffet will be served in the evening before another evening of entertainment.

DAY 4 (BOXING DAY): Our day out takes us on a delightful ride along Glen Dochart and Glen Ogle to Lochearnhead and Callander. We drive through the Trossachs and the National Park to Balloch on the southern tip of Loch Lomond. Here we take a break before heading North following the shore road alongside Loch Lomond then return to the hotel for afternoon tea. After dinner another evening of festive entertainment rounds off the day.

DAY 5: After breakfast we head for home.
