The Riverside Lodge Hotel is located on the outskirts of Irvine, near the Ayrshire coast. Overlooking a golf course the hotel offers comfortable accommodation in pleasant surroundings. Itinerary
Day 1: We depart in the morning travelling to the Riverside Lodge Hotel, Irvine for a 4 nights stay dinner, bed and breakfast.
Day 2: ‘Christmas Eve’. Our day takes us to Glasgow. Why not explore the Christmas Markets, filled with colourful stalls offering a selection of gifts, handmade products and world cuisine set in a festive village of rustic cabins and stalls. Whether you're shopping for a special gift or looking for a bite to eat, Glasgow’s Christmas Markets will be sure to please. Return to the hotel for dinner and a live night of musical entertainment.
Day 3: ‘Christmas Day’. A ‘Very Merry Christmas’ to everyone! Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and a relaxing morning. Traditional Christmas lunch is served, followed by the King’s Speech with tea and mince pies. You will have the opportunity to partake in a festive afternoon of games. A lighter buffet dinner is served tonight.
Day 4: ‘Boxing Day’. After breakfast we journey to Balloch, an enchanting village on the foot of Loch Lomond. Enjoy free time at leisure exploring the stores potentially spotting a boxing day bargain. After lunch we enjoy a cruise on Loch Lomond with views of stately homes and castles along the shoreline, as well as Inchmurrin Island - the largest of Loch Lomond’s 33 islands. Following our cruise, we return to the hotel for dinner followed by live music entertainment
Day 5: After breakfast, we depart the hotel and begin our journey home.
