DAY 1: Depart from your home area in the morning travelling to the Cottons Hotel and Spa Hotel. Enjoy a 4 nights stay dinner, bed and breakfast.
DAY 2: A drive through the pleasant countryside brings us to Chester for the day. The historic city offers lots to see and do. Explore the unique 'Rows' of two-tiered shops or take a stroll around the City Walls. Meander down to the River Dee and maybe enjoy lunch in a riverside pub. Later, we enjoy a sightseeing boat cruise with commentary about the local area and its history.
DAY 3: After a leisurely breakfast, this morning we travel the short distance to the magnificent Tatton Park. This stunning, historic estate is set in over 1000 acres of Cheshire Parkland, with a classical mansion, 50 acres of grounds to explore, including Japanese, Walled and Formal Gardens. Later we return to the hotel with time to enjoy the leisure facilities or simply relax before dinner.
DAY 4: This morning we make our way east to Buxton - known as the capital of the Peak District. We spend some free time here exploring the town with the chance to grab lunch. In the afternoon we head back to Cheshire to Macclesfield where we visit the Silk Museum. On a guided tour we learn the 300-year story of how this area became a global centre for silk manufacturing, textiles, and design.
DAY 5: After breakfast, we leave and begin our journey home.
