Our hotel for this tour is the Peebles Hydro Hotel. Built in 1878 as a health Spa, the original building was destroyed by fire and subsequently rebuilt in 1907. Today the hotel is part of the Crieff Hydro group and offers excellent facilities including a swimming pool, restaurant and all the modern-day luxuries you would expect from a hotel of this standard. This hotel has a lift.

Itinerary
Day 1: Departing from your pickup point, we will head for the Peebles Hydro for a 4 nights stay dinner, bed and breakfast.
Day 2: After breakfast, we travel to Kelso to visit Floors Castle, the largest inhabited castle in Scotland. Set in stunning parkland, you can explore the elegant interiors and beautiful gardens before enjoying time in the charming market town of Kelso. We return to the hotel later in the day.
Day 3: After breakfast, we travel to Edinburgh, where you will enjoy free time to explore Scotland’s vibrant capital at leisure. Perhaps visit the historic Royal Mile, browse the excellent shops, or relax in one of the many cafés before we return to the hotel later in the afternoon. Alternatively spend the day at your leisure enjoying the hotel facilities.
Day 4: Today we visit the historic Traquair House for a guided tour, where you’ll uncover the fascinating stories behind Scotland’s oldest inhabited home, explore its elegant rooms, and stroll through the peaceful grounds. After the tour, we return to the hotel, where you’ll have free time to relax and enjoy the hotel’s excellent facilities.
Day 5: After breakfast we will set off on our homeward journey.
