Our hotel for this tour is the Peebles Hydro Hotel. Built in 1878 as a health Spa, the original building was destroyed by fire and subsequently rebuilt in 1907. Today the hotel is part of the Crieff Hydro group and offers excellent facilities including swimming pool, restaurant and all the modern-day luxuries you would expect from a hotel of this standard. This hotel has a lift.

Itinerary
DAY 1: Departing from your pick up point, we will head for the Peebles Hydro for 4 nights dinner, bed and breakfast.
DAY 2: Our morning takes us to the Royal Botanic Gardens of Edinburgh, where you can experience and learn about plants from around the world. We then spend the rest of the day in the city of Edinburgh, where you can explore at your leisure. We then head back to the hotel late afternoon for our evening meal.
DAY 3: Today we will have a relaxing day at the hotel to enjoy the hotel and all it has to offer. You also have the option to add on a Gin Distillery Tour at the hotels very own 1881 Distillery. The tour includes a welcome drink, savoury nibbles, gin tasters with tonic and a miniature drink to enjoy at home. The tour costs-£30.00pp and can be added at the time of booking.
DAY 4: After breakfast we depart and head across the border to Berwick-upon-Tweed, a traditional market town at the mouth of the River Tweed. You will then have free time to explore before we travel to the small town of Galashiels which is located on the Scottish Borders, with extensive history in the textile industry. Departing late afternoon heading back to our hotel.
DAY 5: After breakfast we will set off on our homeward journey.
