Itinerary
Day 1: Depart from your home area travelling to the Rob Roy Hotel. Enjoy a 4 nights stay dinner, bed and breakfast plus ‘All Inclusive’ package. During our stay enjoy two nights of entertainment.
Day 2: This morning, we begin travelling northwest to Callendar a small highland town and a great place for picking up Scottish souvenirs. The Trossachs Woollen Mill even has resident highland cows for the public to enjoy. Following our visit we depart for Stirling, a city steeped in historic attractions and outstanding scenery. It is home to Stirling Castle, one of Scotland’s most classically important sites, as well as attractions such as Stirling Old Town Jail and Holy Rude, a 15th-century church. In the afternoon, we head off to Glengoyne Distillery to experience a tour and tasting. In the number one warehouse, we learn what difference the wood makes to the spirit and then taste two whiskies from the Glengoyne Collection.
Day 3: This morning, we journey to the Kelpies to marvel at the largest equine sculptures in the world, standing at 100ft tall. Afterwards, we follow the coastline to Queensferry where we board for a cruise. Take in the views of Edinburgh’s iconic Three Bridges with the chance to spot the nature of the forth. After our cruise, we journey to Callendar House for cream tea. This French chateau-styled house comes complete with a working Georgian kitchen.
Day 4: We head towards Balloch, an enchanting village on the foot of the Loch Lomond. Offering fantastic shopping and dining experiences, Balloch also offers a variety of attractions, such as Sea Life Aquarium, Bird of Prey Centre, and the Maid of the Loch, a 1953 paddle steamer with an art deco-inspired interior. Afterward, enjoy a cruise on Loch Lomond with views of stately homes and castles along the shoreline, as well as Inchmurrin Island - the largest of Loch Lomond’s thirty three islands.
Day 5: After breakfast, we leave and begin our journey home.
