Itinerary

DAY 1: Depart from your home area in the morning travelling to Gretna to enjoy a 4 nights stay dinner, bed and breakfast at The Gretna Hall Hotel.

DAY 2: This morning we have a drive to the nearby historic border city of Carlisle where you have free time to explore some of the attractions which include Carlisle Cathedral, Castle and the Tullie House Museum. On the way back we will have a short stop at the Gretna Outlet village which has over 50 outlets offering designer labels and cafes.

DAY 3: After breakfast we travel to the small town of Galashiels which is located on the Scottish Borders, with extensive history in the textile industry. We will then make our way to Selkirk, one of Scotlandâ€™s oldest Royal Burgh's. You will have free time to explore the historic streets which has much to offer.

DAY 4: Today we will visit Melrose and Hawick where you can explore at your leisure. The picturesque town of Melrose is located next to the triple peak of the Eildon Hills and is home to the famous Melrose Abbey. Hawick is the largest town on the Scottish Border, and is famous for high quality textiles and knitwear. Later we will return to the hotel to get ready for the evening.

DAY 5: After breakfast we will have a leisurely journey home via our drop off points.
