Turkey & Tinsel in Ayrshire

Day 1

We depart in the morning travelling to Scotland and arriving at the Riverside Lodge Hotel, Irvine. 4 nights stay dinner, bed and breakfast. Turkey & Tinsel Package. Tea/coffee and shortbread provided on arrival. We enjoy Mulled Wine before dinner. There is entertainment in the form of the pianist tonight.

Day 2

Our day takes us to Glasgow for the much-loved Glasgow Christmas Markets. The markets encompass colourful stall's offering a selection of gifts, handmade products and world cuisine set in a festive village of rustic cabins and stalls. Whether you're shopping for a special gift or looking for a bite to eat, Glasgow's Christmas Markets will be sure to please.

Day 3

This morning we will a drive south along the Ayrshire coast making our first stop of the day in the port of Troon. We will have a chance to take this town in that is made most famous for its Golf course Royal Troon. Later we will continue on to Seaside resort of Ayr. We enjoy the afternoon here taking in the sea air and exploring this popular seaside resort. We return back to the hotel in time for our traditional Christmas dinner.

Day 4

Today we make the short trip to visit the Scottish Maritime Museum in Irvine. Hosts a collection of historic vessels to view alongside showcasing Scotland's ship building heritage. The rest of the day is then free for to explore Irvine at leisure.

Day 5

After breakfast we leave and begin our journey home.

2025 Itinerary
