The Ben Wyvis hotel in Strathpeffer is an imposing hotel built in 1877 and stands in its own landscaped grounds. The hotel provides spacious lounges with open fires, a relaxing bar and restaurant. Bedrooms are tastefully decorated, all are en suite and have television, telephone, hairdryer and tea & coffee making facilities. The hotel has a lift.

Itinerary
DAY 1: Departing from you home area we head for a 2 night stay dinner, bed and breakfast at the Gairloch Hotel.
DAY 2: After breakfast we head for a circular trip to the tranquil fishing town of Ullapool passing along some of the most dramatic scenery in Scotland. Returning in the evening for a late evening meal.
DAY 3: We depart and head to the ferry terminal to set sail for Stornoway. Once arriving on the Island, we will make our way to Rodel, whilst taking in the fantastic views and then have a visit to St. Clement's Church, which is said to be the 'Grandest Medieval Building' in the Western Isles. We then head for the Cabarfeidh to enjoy 2 nights stay dinner, bed and breakfast.
DAY 4: After breakfast, we head to Lewis. We start off our morning by heading to Gearrannan Blackhouse Village which gives a unique insight into Island life in a traditional thatched house village dating back to the 1800's. We then head to Carloway Broch, a type of structure only found in Scotland. Please note access to this is on an uneven path and not suitable to those with walking difficulties. We then move onto Calanais Standing Stones, an extraordinary setting of stones which dates back over 5,000. You will also have an opportunity to purchase refreshments at the cafe. We then return to Stornoway in the afternoon for free time.
DAY 5: We depart our hotel early morning heading for the ferry terminal, where you will have an opportunity to purchase breakfast on board. We will then make the journey to the beautiful Inverewe gardens which was created in 1862 and is based on a 850 hectare estate. We will then continue to the Ben Wyvis hotel for a one night stay dinner, bed and breakfast.
DAY 6: Departing from the hotel we head for home via drop off points.
