Shakespeare's Gin, City of Culture, Cotswolds

Day 1

Depart from your home area travelling to your overnight hotel in arriving at The Best Western Lancashire Manor Hotel. Overnight stay dinner, bed and breakfast.

Day 2

Depart from your overnight hotel travelling to Warwickshire, arriving at the Charlecote Pheasant Hotel. 4 nights stay dinner, bed and breakfast.

Day 3

Our day takes us into the beautiful Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, stopping in the delightful market town of Stow-on-the-Wold, perhaps the best known of the small Cotswolds towns. We have free time here before continuing to Oxford, the "city of dreaming spires", home of the famous university and plenty of interesting attractions, including Oxford castle. You could also visit the covered and open markets of the city today.

Day 4

Today we head to Stratford-upon-Avon, market town with more than 800 years of history, well known as the birthplace of Shakespeare. There are many attractions and things to do in the town, including a river cruise or a wide variety of museums. In the afternoon, we head to Shakespeare's Distillery for a tour and tasting. Half the group enjoy a guided distillery tour whilst half enjoy their tutored tasting of 3 of our craft Gins in our state-of-the-art Gin School ending with a refreshing Gin and Tonic.

Day 5

This morning we head to Coventry, the UK City of Culture 2021!Perhaps visit the famous Coventry Transport Museum, or enjoy some retail therapy on Coventry high street or market today. Afterwards, we head to Packwood Tudor house, park and garden. The House contains a fine collection of 16th-century textiles and furniture, and the gardens have renowned herbaceous borders and a famous collection of yews.

Day 6

Depart from your warwickshire travelling to your overnight hotel in Northern England, arriving at the Best Western Lancashire Manor Hotel. Overnight stay dinner, bed and breakfast.

Day 7

After breakfast we leave and head for home.
