The Beaufort Park Hotel is situated near the market town of Mold and is an ideal base for our tour. The Scandinavian style reception and mezzanine lounge provide

Itinerary

DAY 1: Depart from your home area travelling to The Beaufort Park Hotel. 4 nights stay dinner, bed and breakfast. Tea and Biscuits on arrival.

DAY 2: Leaving after breakfast, we travel along the coast to Abergele and then head to the Conwy Valley, Llanrwst and Betws-y-Coed where we take a break. We then ride over the Crimea Pass to Blaenau Ffestiniog. Here we join the famous Ffestiniog Railway for a spectacular ride over the mountains to Porthmadog. We can explore the town and obtain lunch before we make our way through the Snowdonia National Park to Lake Bala. Here we have a ride along the lake shore on the delightful Bala Lake Railway.

DAY 3: Our excursion today takes us to the ancient and historic city of Chester. We have lots of time to explore the city. You can stroll around the city walls, enjoy lunch in a riverside pub, or shop till you drop in the famous 'Rows' of two-tiered shops in the pedestrianised centre.

DAY 4: Today we head out through some lovely Welsh scenery, including the spectacular Horseshoe Pass, to the Dee Valley where we join the Rheilfford Llangollen Railway for a journey on a nostalgic train. We also take a ride on the 'Stream in the Sky'-the Llangollen Canal-gliding gently along over the country's biggest navigable viaduct.

DAY 5: After breakfast we leave the hotel and begin our journey home.
