The Winnock Hotel, Drymen 3*

Situated in the heart of Loch Lomond National Park, The Winnock Hotel is set in an 18^th-century building. Rooms are all equipped with a TV, en-suite bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities. This hotel doesn’t have a lift, however ground floor rooms are available on request.

Itinerary

DAY 1: Departing from your pick-up point, we will head for the Winnock Hotel, Loch Lomond for a 4 night stay, dinner, bed and breakfast.

DAY 2: After a leisurely breakfast we head for Kilbryde Castle where you will be greeted with a warm welcome from Sir James Campbell to visit the castle and grounds. You will then enjoy tea, coffee and cake before heading back to the hotel.

DAY 3: Today you will enjoy a one-hour sail on Loch Katrine aboard the lady of the lake, whilst enjoying a cream tea. We will then head for Stirling to visit the magnificent Stirling Castle, dating back to around early 12th century. Immerse yourself in the history of this historic castle where several Scottish Kings and Queen were crowned.

DAY 4: After breakfast we will begin our journey for Edinburgh to visit the Royal Yacht Britannia. Discover the Former Royal yacht of the British Monarchy across 5 decks of history of life at sea aboard this famous boat. In the afternoon we will then visit Edinburgh's spectacular botanic gardens for a guided tour, with over 20 hectares of grounds to explore along the beautiful River Kelvin.

DAY 5: After breakfast we will set off on our homeward journey.

Please be aware all of our rooms are released back to the hotel approximately 4 weeks to the departure date. We recommend that you book atleast 2 months prior to the holiday to secure your booking.
