The impressive 300 years old Crown Hotel stands in Harrogate’s Montpellier Quarter just a few minutes’ walk from the major attractions, including the picturesque town centre with its fascinating antique shops, richly historic Victorian arcades and interesting boutique shops. All bedrooms are ensuite and have television, radio, telephone, 24 hour room service, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Hotel has a lift.

Itinerary

DAY 1: Depart from your home area travelling to The Crown Hotel Harrogate. 3 nights stay dinner, bed and breakfast.

DAY 2 (NEW YEAR'S EVE): After a leisurely breakfast, you are free to explore Harrogate at leisure. With huge open spaces, broad tree-lined boulevards, antique shops and shopping malls, Harrogate is an elegant town. Harrogate also boasts the world-famous Betty's tearooms, founded in 1919 by a Swiss confectioner. Just around the corner from Betty's is Farrar's of Harrogate, established in 1840 and best known for its Original Harrogate Toffee-the favourite sweetie of the late Queen Mother. Return to the hotel in the afternoon to enjoy cream tea. Enjoy pre-dinner drinks before our New Year's Eve Gala Dinner with entertainment. Leading up to midnight, toast a glass of Fizz to the New Year.

DAY 3 (NEW YEAR'S DAY): After breakfast, we start the New Year with a visit to the historic city of York. We have the day to explore this fascinating city with lots of attractions to keep you busy, such as the National Railway Museum, Jorvik Centre, the City Walls, the little streets and alleyways in the centre and not forgetting York Minster. Return to the hotel late afternoon for dinner.

DAY 4: After breakfast we leave for home.

Travel Insurance

We don't provide insurance however we recommend that you have the relevant travel insurance for your Holiday. We can recommend your local post office, online or your bank. Travel insurance covers cancellations cost's and provides you cover if you happen to have an accident when on holiday.

Please be aware all of our rooms are released back to the hotel approximately 4 weeks to the departure date. We recommend that you book atleast 2 months prior to the holiday to secure your booking.
