The Queen at Chester Hotel, Premier Collection by Best Western is just a short distance from Chester centre and is an ideal location for this break. Marvel at the vaulted ceilings, spectacular staircases and regal public areas of this stately building. Regular guests from long ago included Lillie Langtree and Charles Dickens. Each room is true to the Victorian style, unique in terms of size, décor and aspect. All the comfortable rooms are en suite and have flat screen TV and hospitality tray. The hotel has a lift.

Day 1

Depart from your home area travelling to Chester, arriving at the Best Western Chester the Queens hotel. 4 nights stay dinner, bed and breakfast. Enjoy a glass of wine with dinner this evening.

Day 2

This morning we head into Liverpool where you can enjoy free time to visit the local attractions and city sights. This afternoon we join the Mersey Ferries ship for a cruise on the river Mersey, with spectacular views on the Liverpool waterfront, including the famous 'Three Graces'.

Day 3

Today we make the short journey into the historic city of Chester. The day is then free for you to explore-the unique 2 storey 'Rows'of shops are worth a look, or you may fancy a gentle stroll to the River Dee a or take a walk around the ancient Roman Walls.

Day 4

Our morning takes us to Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet, the perfect place to start our Christmas shopping this November. Later, we return back to the hotel for cream tea (scones, jam, clotted cream, butter & tea/coffee) and time to relax before our evening meal. Enjoy a glass of wine with dinner this evening.

Day 5

After breakfast we leave and head for home.
