You can take a tour of the 16th-century, antique-furnished rooms at Holyrood Palace, official Scottish residence of the Queen, just a 20-minute bus ride from the hotel, or cheer on a game at Murrayfield Stadium, which hosts Scotland's rugby union home matches. The high street shops of the modern Gyle Shopping Centre are 10 minutes away by bus, from the stop just outside the hotel. Itinerary
Day 1-Travelling from your designated pick up point we will head for the Holiday Inn, Edinburgh for 3 nights bed and breakfast.
*Please be aware there is a restaurant based in the hotel however there is no other restaurants located near the hotel, there is a bus stop right outside the hotel which can take you into the city centre. We have attached links for the timetable*
Day 2-After a leisurely breakfast we depart the hotel and head to the Livingston Designer Outlets for the day. We aim to arrive in Livingston for around 1100hrs. We will return early evening to the hotel so we suggest having an early evening meal whilst at the shopping centre.
Day 3-Today is free for you to explore Scotland's capital at your own leisure. We head into Edinburgh for around 1000hrs and drop you off on Market Street which is around an 8/10 minute walk from Princes Street. The coach will be returning at 1800hrs to head back to the hotel.
*Please be aware there is a bus stop right outside the hotel so you are more than welcome to return to the hotel on the service bus if you wish to stay longer in Edinburgh*
Day 4-After breakfast we leave and head for home.
