Itinerary
DAY 1: Depart from your home area travelling to Newcastle, arriving at the Copthorne Hotel. 3 nights stay dinner, bed and breakfast.
DAY 2: Today you will have free time in Newcastle to explore the vibrant city at your leisure. From beautiful architecture, a host of restaurants and shops, to many attractions there is something for everyone.
DAY 3: After breakfast we will depart for our first stop of the day, the Locomotion Museum in Shildon. Located in the world's first railway town, the popular museum showcases the rich history of the railway and the important part it played in changing all of our lives. We will then head to Durham. Explore the city at your leisure, why not visit the spectacular cathedral or castle, or enjoy something to eat in the many restaurants and cafes located in the centre.
DAY 4: After breakfast we leave and head for home.
