Day 1

Departing from your pick up point we arrive at the beautiful Gretna Hall for our four night stay - dinner, bed and breakfast.

Day 2

This morning we have a drive to the nearby historic border city of Carlisle. The city has much to offer the visitor-Carlisle Cathedral, the 900-year-old castle, and the Tullie House Museum, telling the citys History. The Lanes shopping centre is at the heart of the pedestrianised city centre, with chic boutiques to well-known high street names. Heading to Gretna Gateway Outlet village for the remainder of the Afternoon.

Day 3

Today we head for the historic country town Dumfries which is famously known as the Queen of the South. It is located near the mouth of the River Nith into the Solway Firth. You will have free time to explore the are before heading to Moffat for the afternoon.

Day 4

We travel to Hexham which is south bank of the River Tyne. Hexham is an attractive riverside town rich in history, dating back to he 1300s. It is your typical idyllic English town displaying a network of pretty streets scattered with galleries. We then depart for Hadrian's Wall also known as the Roman Wall. The wall was built to guard the wild north-west frontier of the Roman Empire. Discover the remains of the forts, towers, turrets and towns that once kept watch over the wall.

Day 5

After a leisurely breakfast we leave and head for home
