The Dornoch Hotel is an ideal base from which to explore the Highlands and some of Scotland’s most unspoiled coastline. This hotel has a lift.

Day 1

Departing from your home heading towards Scotland’s North Coast to enjoy a four nights stay - dinner, bed and breakfast at the Dornoch Hotel.

Day 2

Enjoy a hearty breakfast before heading via Lairg to the distinctively curved Kylesku Bridge that crosses the Loch a Chairn Bhain on the North Coast 500. Returning via Assynt to Ullapool which is home to the finest summits in the North West Highlands where you can enjoy free time and lunch opportunity then returning to Dornoch.

Day 3

Following on from breakfast we will have a free morning in Dornoch before departing for a scenic driver and photo opportunity at Struie. We then head to falls of Shin where you will have an opportunity to grab a refreshment before returning back to the hotel.

Day 4

We will have an early breakfast and departure this morning. We head to John O' Groats which is the most Northerly point of Britain. Here we board the ferry for the short crossing to Orkney where your driver guide will take you around Orkney's highlights. These will include some of the most popular sights the Island has to offer, before returning to the mainland and heading home to the hotel for a late evening meal. ( Please note some attractions may require a small entrance fee, which is not included.)

Day 5

We head home after a leisurely breakfast. Enjoy a free morning in Dornoch.
