Nightly entertainment in Donegal

Day 1

Crossing the Irish sea we make our way to beautiful Donegal to be greeting by the lovely staff and our first Irish dinner.

Day 2

Board the coach after a good Irish breakfast and travel to Slieve League the highest sea cliffs in Europe. It's the perfect photo opportunity and a hidden gem of our beautiful country. In the afternoon enjoy a water cruise on Donegal Bay, the cruise has a bar and the captain may treat you to a sing song. Donegal bay Is home to over 300 seals as be on the lookout.

Day 3

Glenveagh Castle is a 19th Century , Castellated mansion built between 1867 & 1873. Surrounded by the famous Glenveagh garden, its construction in a remote mountain setting was inspired by the Victorian idyll of a romantic highland retreat, bus transfer & entrance to the castle included. We leave Glenveagh mid afternoon & head back towards Donegal. Along the way we stop in Letterkenny , a busy town with plenty of cafes for lunch & shopping for loved ones. We arrive back to our hotel with some time to relax before our dinner.

Day 4

Check in to your castle stay for the nights and enjoy the atmosphere, Killiney beach is a short 15 minutes' walk away . Enjoy some time enjoying the sea and sand or take on a challenge and walk up Killiney Hill

Day 5

In the morning we take a bus tour through Dublin city seeing all its amazing sights before enjoying some free time in the Capital. In the Afternoon we visit the Guinness store house & sample a pint of Guinness in the Gravity Bar with spectacular views over Dublin.

Day 6

We depart our hotel and make our way north to the Giants Causeway, a landscape of dramatic cliff & basalts columns. Legend has it the Causeway was formed by two great giants Finn from Ireland & Benandonner from Scotland. We take the Audio tour which takes you on a loop walk of the Causeway, taking the return bus straight down to the causeway. After some free time take the famous Bushmills distillery tours , the Distillery is over 400 years old and the tour takes you through the whole process including a sample of the Whiskey.

Day 7

Driving through the Irish countryside we begin our journey home leaving behind some new friends and taking with us lasting memories.
