Blenheim Palace, Oxford & Windsor

Day 1

Depart from your home area travelling to North West England, arriving late afternoon at the Holiday Inn Preston. Overnight stay -dinner, bed & breakfast.

Day 2

Depart from your overnight hotel travelling to Bracknell, arriving late afternoon at the Hilton St Anne's Manor Hotel. Four nights stay-dinner, bed & breakfast.

Day 3

This morning we drive to Blenheim Palace where you can discover 300 years of history at Britain's Greatest Palace. Visit the State Rooms, Formal Gardens or explore the grounds at your own pace. Later this afternoon, we head to Henley-on-Thames-home of the famous regatta. Here we have time to explore the town.

Day 4

Today we have a full day in Oxford, the "city of dreaming spires", home of the famous university and plenty of interesting attractions, including Oxford castle. You could also visit the covered and open markets of the city today.

Day 5

This morning, we travel to Royal Windsor where the morning is yours to visit the many independent stores, explore its streets and fully experience the Royal Town in full, perhaps enjoying lunch by the riverside or in the town centre. Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world, is a must-see with its many treasures, including its State Apartments. For our afternoon outing, we head for the picturesque Thames side town of Kingston-upon-Thames with its riverside setting.

Day 6

After breakfast we leave and head for home.
